ABOUT GARFIELD
Garfield is a public elementary school located at the base of Coit Tower - one of the most picturesque spots in the city of San Francisco. As one of the first public elementary schools in the city, Garfield has been providing a rich academic environment for local children for more than 100 years. Today, Garfield is a small, tight-knit community serving 240 children of diverse cultural and economic backgrounds in grades K-5.

Garfield is a public elementary school located at the base of Coit Tower, in one of the most picturesque spots in the city of San Francisco.
As one of the first public elementary schools in the city, Garfield has been providing a rich academic environment for local children for more than 100 years. Today, Garfield is a small, tight-knit community serving approximately 200 children of diverse cultural and economic backgrounds in grades K-5.
Garfield Elementary offers general education classes and Cantonese Immersion Program for grades K-5; a Special Day Class (SDC) program for children with mild to moderate autism; and an after-school program from school dismissal to 5:45pm every school day.

Garfield school tours will be held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 8:45 am beginning November 2, 2022. Please call or email the Garfield office at least 24 hours in advance to make a reservation.
